Using this website.
Top Choice Relocation introduces you to licensed moving companies and helps coordinate your move. This page explains what using this website does, and who you contract with for the move itself.
Your moving contract is with the moving company
When you hire a moving company, that company’s own contract, estimate, deposit, cancellation and refund terms govern the move, and they are between you and them. Top Choice Relocation is not a party to that contract.
Four different things, with different counterparties:
- Withdrawing your request. You tell us to stop introducing companies. Use your request link.
- Asking us to stop contacting you. A separate instruction, also from your request link.
- Cancelling a booking. You tell the moving company. We cannot cancel their booking for you.
- A refund. From whoever took the money, which is never us: Top Choice Relocation takes no payment from you at any point.
What a quote request does
Sending a quote request asks us to introduce you to moving companies that operate on your route. It does not book your move or reserve a date.
We do not promise that a moving company will be found for every route or date, that one will contact you within any particular time, or that any estimate will be a particular amount. Where we provide an estimate on a moving company’s behalf, it is prepared under our agreement with that company and based on that company’s tariff; the moving company performs the move and sets its own rates.

When you type a ZIP code on the quote form, we look it up in a postal-code table held in our own systems to show the town and state; the code you type is not sent to anyone else for that. The table is built from GeoNames postal-code data (geonames.org), used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence.

Top Choice Relocation is a household goods broker. It arranges moving services and does not transport household goods. An independent moving company performs your move, and that company's own rates and tariff determine what you are charged.
Where Top Choice Relocation provides an estimate on a moving company's behalf, that estimate is prepared under our written agreement with that company and is based on that company's tariff. The moving company that performs your move is the party that adopts the estimate.
Deposits, cancellations and refunds
Top Choice Relocation takes no deposit or payment from you. The moving company you hire sets its own deposit, cancellation and refund terms, and they are part of its contract with you. Questions? Call (888) 753-7310 or e-mail admin@topchoicerelocation.com.

The first-move offer
The website may show a first-move offer of $600 off for out-of-state moves. Adding it to your quote request records that you asked for it; it does not apply a discount, change an estimate or book anything. The moving company that quotes your move discusses it with you on the quote call. Nothing is applied online.
Conditions: the offer is for out-of-state moves, and it is confirmed on your quote call, not applied online.
